Julie Caldwell was born and raised in Oklahoma where she still resides with her little black cat Absynthe. Julie fell in love with reading when she was very little when her mother would read stories to her at bedtime. Her love of reading quickly translated into her love of writing, first with poems, and then with full length novels. Julie would also love to travel to Middle and High Schools around the state of Oklahoma and educate younger readers on the joys of using books as a tools for creative expression and self discovery. She is a 2024 recipient of the NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma Award, which honors creative and innovative leaders Under 30 years old in Oklahoma, and was recently featured as a guest on the Maverick Podcast and was interviewed for KGOU's On the Scene. She has a love of anything mythological or having to do with the occult. Her hobbies include playing video games, and photography.
