Jasmine Evenfell was born to a wealthy family in the realm of Amethystia. She grew up with her sister Luna and they were close.

Jasmine always loved art. Starting from the time she could walk, she made art with any object she could find. That's what led her to study magic and magical artifacts in school. She wanted to learn how to use her powers to create masterpieces.

During one study session, she found out a horrible family secret and decided to abandon her pursuit of magic, and her home altogether. She moved to Salem, Massachusetts in the human world and decided to pursue art the old fashioned way.

Her experience with books helped her get a job at the local library, and she hasn't looked back That is, until she was sent a notice by her brother-in-law about her niece, Ebony, being sent to live with her.

Jasmine decided to show Ebony the joys of the human world with popcorn, movie marathons, and art nights on the deck.
