Nightshade is a Regelf who was born in the realm of Amethystia. He spent his childhood being looked down on, and developed a very strong sense of justice because of it.

He grew up with six siblings and his mother in a tiny cottage, and even though things were incredibly cramped, he's thankful he had that experience.

​

Nightshade loves being outdoors and meditating during the sunrise. He finds that's when he's the most at peace with himself and everything else.

​

As a child, he always wanted to be a part of the Royal Guard, and worked hard to get into Progarria, the most elite school for guards in Amethytsia.

​

Nightshade's dream came true when he was assigned to be the bodyguard to the princess of Amethystia, Ebony Amberwood.

​

Nightshade hated the human realm. He found the landscape colorless, and the people rude, but the more time he spent around humans, and Ebony, the more the human world (and Ebony) grew on him.
